Honey Tapping

Honey Tapping

What is Honey Tapping?

While honey tapping may be something new to you, it’s been around for a long time with proven skin benefits. It’s an ancient technique that has been used for centuries to provide a range of skin benefits. This approach of applying honey to the skin and “tapping” utilizes the honey’s sticky texture to help separate the skin from underlying tissue. This in turn helps facilitate lymphatic drainage, enhance circulation, and strengthen connective tissue.

Skin Benefits:

Honey tapping can help you achieve a beautiful glow. The process gently exfoliates and leaves your skin feeling plump and firm. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory components in the honey help to soothe your skin, kill bacteria, and even accelerate your skin’s healing process. Honey is also incredibly hydrating, so it will not strip your skin in the process!

How to do it:

Use a high-quality raw unfiltered honey if possible- or use our honey-infused Begin Again mask!

  • Apply 1 tsp honey onto clean, dry skin
  • Gently tap the skin from the chest, moving up the sides of the neck and up the chin, cheeks, and forehead
  • After a couple of minutes you ’ll start to feel the honey stick to and pull your skin, which encourages lymphatic drainage
  • Once you finish tapping you can leave it on for an additional 10-20 minutes
  • Remove with warm water

Our Begin Again Mask
